Candida albicans sometimes begins to grow rapidly out of control and can cause infection. It's different from person to person as to what extent the overgrowth may be. These microorganisms are usually residing in certain parts in our body such as the intestinal walls, throat, oral mucosa, and vaginal lining in females. Yeast is harmless and doesn't lead to health issues when their number is kept in check, however once they over populate, infection will happen and cause troublesome symptoms that can have serious repercussions.
